About Dylan Cox
I am a cultural heritage professional, writer, and educator with a diverse history of working in private and non-profit industries. I am also a self-taught programmer with a wide range of skills in new and emerging technologies. I acquired a Master's degree focused in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Chicago, and have since been working in the tech education sector, as well as recently working in the field of Ontario cultural resource management. While studying in Chicago, I was inspired by the urban planning and ecological restoration projects being undertaken by organizations and volunteers throughout the greater Chicago region. I knew I wanted to be involved in cultural and ecological stewardship. I was also inspired by figures like Bob Cassilly of St. Louis, who designed the quirky St. Louis City Museum.
