Placement Student
Worked in two Developmentally Disabled classrooms 4 days a week. The DD students are split up not by grade but by ability. Both classrooms have regular DD, autistic, and downs syndrome students in them. All the students I work with are aged from 14 to 21. I worked with both classes on skills such as math, language, minor moor skills, mass motor skills, comprehension, and life skills. I have been in charge of planning and running events in both classrooms and even for multi school events. I have been part creating the individual education plans as well as giving feedback for report cards and parent interviews.
