Recent earth science and environmental science graduate from the University of Calgary eager to demonstrate his passion and talents in the field of hydrogeology. Hands on experience acquired from various field-based studies have allowed development and execution of a variety of field techniques including installing monitoring equipment, collecting representative soil and groundwater samples, and conducting hydraulic conductivity testing and pump tests. Previous work experience has demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork skills, including managing teams and sub-contractors. Strong organization skills and attention to detail ensure that projects are executed in an efficient and effective manner. Returning to the University of Calgary in the Fall of 2017 to further pursue a Master’s degree in hydrogeology. Some things that I bring to the table:- Acute problem solving skills, devising solutions for instrument malfunctions and technical problems providing logistical support - Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites, ArcGIS 10.5 Suites, Matlab, Geochemist's Workbench, SlopeW from GeoStudio 2016, and PyScripter IDE for Python 2- Balanced collaborative abilities, acclimating to different situations where leadership is required or direction has already been determinedWhen I'm not working or at school, you can find me outside wandering the mountains, sitting in front of the computer attempting to get one of my python scripts to run, shooting the puck around or trying to hit a home-run. I am a very passionate sports fan who loves cheering for the home town team (Go Flames!) but has branched out geographically for some others (Bayern Munich, LA Chargers, Raptors and Jays). So if any corporate teams need a ringer, I might be your guy.
