AMSCO works to advance private sector development through partnerships with governments, private companies and development agencies, leveraging Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) for the socio-economic advancement of African enterprises. As Business Development Manager, I worked across eight country teams to identify local opportunities and to coordinate the development of proposals and the structuring of teams and partnerships to implement projects.

Responsible for strategy and the day-to-day running of Vula Mobile, an mHealth start-up that aims to create more effective and efficient medical referral networks through the smart use of appropriate technologies. Vula Mobile connects doctors, nurses and healthcare workers in primary health posts with specialists through a mobile application. The app allows for faster, better referrals and ultimately a more efficient and effective medical referral network.

ANDE is a global network of 220+ organizations that work to propel entrepreneurship in the developing world. The ANDE South Africa Chapter works towards strengthening the ecosystem that supports Small and Growing Business (SGBs) in South Africa.
