My name is Dylan, I am from Utah where I lived for most of my life, working various customer service and sales jobs where I learned a great deal about being professional, developing that profession, working in a fast paced team-based environment, and producing results meeting or exceeding all quality standards and learning to be proud of my work. The more I did, the more I realized I wanted to do something I was passionate about. Eventually, I began working on side projects and collaborative pieces with colleagues, friends, people online, and basically anyone that would let me put my true passion for 3D modeling to use. Eventually, in 2017 I decided to join the Americorps and fly to California where I served two years working for the Napa County office of education. I was able to work in schools and work with struggling kids and be a mentor for them teaching them life skills and how to navigate school and their emotions while also providing a program after school where I taught a number of skills including 3D, where I was able to put the school's unused printers to work for the ACE program I served, the science department, and our burgeoning engineering program; where-in our students' first year were able to obtain several awards on their designs! Since the end of my service, I have been focusing on embracing my skills as a 3D designer to bring the passion I had working in the classroom to my future career in the games industry. In February of 2023, I graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science in Game Art. This Journey has been long but to me, this is just the beginning and I am looking forward to doing what I love with other professionals that also care about what they do.
