-Open and Closed down the store when scheduled. Was able to be trusted with the ability to work any extra hours that were needed and had full access to the store during any hour. -Made employee schedules for my department. Was able to determine how many employees were always needed during the different times in retail.-Went out as a Salesman to bring in more business to our store. Cardinal’s handles a vast amount of businesses, sports leagues, schools, and other types of accounts where we do custom lettering on products (shirts, hats, backpacks, etc.)-Ordered products for store as well as customer’s personal orders. Had to make sure to make customer’s deadlines for when they needed products to arrive as well as be printed on and completed. -Built relationships with customers as well as vendors. Had many scheduled meetings with vendors throughout the year to discuss new products coming out. Also had many scheduled meetings with customers to go over what products they needed and when they were needing them by.-Typically placed well over 1,000 custom orders for our customers per year, which was around 34% of all orders placed in my department. -Used Adobe Illustrator to create graphics and designs for customer’s orders. Designed logos for companies, teams, schools, etc.-Used a Cad-Cutter and a Digital Printer to print out designs to then heat press onto customers products. Helped with Screen Printing and Embroidery when needed as well as helped our Trophy department during the busy times with Lasering and Engraving.-Won Employee of the Month while working the retail floor.

-Cashed checks and made deposits to customer accounts. Made sure each customer left smiling and enjoyed the experience of banking with First Bank & Trust.-Ran mortgage payments and credit card payments as our bank was partnered with a mortgage company. -Ordered supplies weekly or as needed. This included making sure the vault always had enough money in it to maintain daily tasks.-Balanced this job as well as my other job at Cardinal’s Sport Center while also taking 15 or more hours of classes at Lubbock Christian University.

-Tested & detailed units that were completed. Had to make sure each unit ran properly as well as looked good. -Collaborated with co-workers to accomplish tasks. Worked very well in a team setting and helped lead new employees to succeed in each task.-Helped fix any issues with transformer units. Made sure that units would not come back with a failed testing.

-Satisfied customer’s needs in any way I was able to. Worked my way up throughout the store from sacking to dairy, warehouse, meat market, dock operator, assistant fuel manager, then front-end manager. -Kept up with stock, ordered product when needed as well as checked in the delivery trucks and made sure all product arrived on time. -Ran register as well as other programs that were needed. Was very quick to adapt to new systems and helped train others to do the same. -Kept up with daily schedules, break, and lunches. Made sure all employees were on time and taken care of from when they arrived to work till the end of each shift. -Started job when I was 15 years old and balanced work life while going to school and playing multiple sports in high school.
