I was always told to go to college by every teacher, every guidance counselor, and most adults. I was at a birthday party my senior year of high school and my uncle asked what my plans were after high school. He told me about our apprenticeship program and I was very hesitant due to my past conversations with other adults about going to college. I spoke with my parents and we spoke about the pro’s and con’s of the apprenticeship program and college. At that time in my life I was unsure what I wanted to major in and knew I didn’t want student loans. The apprenticeship was the best option for me. I started with an awesome company International Fire Protection Inc. I was brought in and worked with great guys who became friends. I was treated like family. I have accepted great opportunities presented to me because of a decision I made based on a conversation at a birthday party in a Mexican Restaurant. I have worked on amazing projects with some of the best people ever known in our industry. I have been to training all over the United States to help prepare me for my career. I have worked with awesome clients who trust my knowledge that I have learned throughout my career. I am able to provide a good life for my family. My wife is a loving homemaker and my son is a kind and caring person who loves karate.
