• Utilize LEAN, Six-Sigma, EVOP and statistical analysis of DOE’s to develop, optimize, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Manage a team of 2 Engineers and 7 Technicians in support of sustaining current processes to meet the demand of painting 20,000+ sunglasses daily.

Detroit, MI

• Formulated high-performance custom paints and coatings for the OEM automotive industry, including waterborne (1 and 2 component), as well as solvent-based lacquers, polyurethanes, and epoxies.
• Developed new automotive OEM colors and matched existing OEM colors.
• Chemical and mechanical testing of paints and coatings using standardized ASTM, ISO, SAE, and OEM-developed test methods.
• Performed customer technical service. Traveled to customer’s manufacturing facilities to assist in the modification and/or implementation of new paint application equipment.
• Managed the company’s ISO-9001, QS-9000, and TS-16949 quality operating systems.
• Developed APQP documents for submission for automotive PPAP.

• Dayshift Supervisor of ten (10) direct subordinates responsible for order-entry, tracking, and material management in support of the command Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department.
