📌 Health and Safety Manager with Construction, Mining, Paramedic and Rescue experience.🚩You could say I identified my life's calling by accident. Within months of meeting a St John Ambulance crew following a minor vehicle incident I was employed as a First Aid Trainer. I became a Comms Officer, trained as a Paramedic and eventually took the role of St John Ambulance Regional Manager for the Top End (Northern Territory) for nine years.📍 Working in the Northern Territory provided a wide variety of experience including natural disasters such as cyclones, flooding and fire. And with Darwin being the gateway to Asia, I was required to oversee the Ambulance Service emergency disaster response following the Bali bombing and was privileged to accept an OAM (Order of Australia Medal) for that contribution.📢 The safety and well-being of people has always been my focus and I offer the following skill sets: ◽️ Experienced Health And Safety Professional;◽️ Construction industry experience;◽️ Experienced in leading ICAM investigations◽️ Disaster & Emergency Management;◽️ Rescue;◽️ Paramedical (onshore & offshore)◽️ Workplace Safety;◽️ Safety Management Systems;◽️ Hazard Analysis;◽️ Training Delivery;◽️ Facilitator, Mentor & Business Coach;◽️ Extensive Operations Management with Bachelor's degree (business), Charles Darwin University and Graduate Diploma of Health (WHS), Federation University.👣When I am not working you can find me with a camera📷 in hand looking for the next photograph, or out with the metal detector looking for hidden treasure.
