Developed agile delivery process and culture that could take apps from concept to production in 2-4 weeks. Delivered one of the first voice-based local search application for the iPhone in partnership with AT&T Labs. Deployed consumer research prototypes with nearly 1M downloads across both iPhone and Android platforms, pioneering disruptive consumer experience features (voice, gesture, crowd-sourcing) and advanced technologies (REST services, thin-client mobile architecture, search). Several of these prototypes were recognized in the media as best of class. Delivered Lucene-based JRuby search engine technology. Created a cloud services team that eventually evolved into AT&T's Cloud Foundry in Palo Alto.

Founder of Web architecture consultancy focused on Ruby and Ajax. Developed numerous open source projects, including the Waves Web architectural framework, DateJS, and many others.

Responsible for defining overall strategy and operations for Western Region of $10M/year national enterprise software consulting firm specializing in SOA. Launched SOA Governance program, built $1M+ pipeline and closed initial accounts (Disney, The Gap, Intuit) for "greenfield" territory. Also managed delivery for strategic east coast accounts.
