My role serves as the primary source of Network recruitment and development for assigned territories. This includes identifying, researching and conducting preliminary contact with targeted providers in an assigned territory. My duty is to initiate conversations to introduce Equality Health Network and to develop communications, with the objective to secure participation agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures. I play a critical role in increasing Equality Health’s brand with providers by identifying, researching, vetting and developing an assessment of the provider and the overall business landscape, appropriately identifying providers that align with EHN while also supporting provider network growth strategies and provider network development.

My role was to be responsible for field and office activities in educating and supporting the IPA’s provider network. I worked closely with contracted providers on managed care operations, oversight of assigned region, provide support and ongoing education to contracted providers and their office staff regarding IPA policies, procedures, and contractual obligations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and work with Upper Management to report network needs and how to further enhance the organization.

My role was to provide assistance to the Provider Network Operations Department to comply with IPA and Health Plan standards. My essential duties and responsibilities included the following. • Maintain professional etiquette working with external customers and interacting with staff.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs- Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.• Responsible to assist department Manager to schedule internal and external meetings; providing assistance to have reports and agenda items prepared for all meetings• Responsible for taking minutes after all internal and external meetings as assigned• Participate in departmental, hospital, health plan, and marketing joint events/meetings.• Ability to research authorizations, claims, eligibility, and compliance items raised by physician practices or health plan partners.• Ability to handle member/provider concerns in an empathetic and caring manner.• Participation in new business or network projects• Assistance in incoming health plan projects such as roster validation, general reports on hospital affiliation and work with other internal departments such as Contracting, and Credentialing to complete all such assignments.• Assistance in handling provider status change requests, including terminations, adding of health plans, address change, telephone change• Other duties assigned by department Manager/Supervisor
