Hello! I'm Dmitry - an experienced Software Engineer, currently living in Paphos, Cyprus, but planning to move to Spain.During my employment I mostly worked with .NET stack including C#, ASP.NET Blazor Framework, HTML/CSS/JS on the frontend, nUnit, Selenium WebDriver and VS profiling tools. Teams I was part of utilized Scrum, Kanban and other Agile methods, hence I have a good understanging of iterative software development. I am familiar with Docker, Git and Unix Shell, CI/CD processes with GitLab and TeamCity, as well as software testing theory and bug tracking using GitHub issues and YouTrack.At the moment I am having a pause in my employment to refresh and actualize my industry knowledge and become more versatile. For this purpose I relearn Python, which I used before my first official job, study Cloud Computing with popular services, DevOps tools and modern approaches to architecture, and steadily work on my highly extensible pet project which for now requires a service that collects data through parsing and scraping of Wikipedia pages, another one leveraging cloud ML-as-a-service solutions, a Flask API server and a frontend application for people to play a little guessing game with the data from Wikipedia. Along the way I use GitHub Projects to keep track of my progress and ideas, and plan to deploy all of this on AWS.I am quick to learn and adapt, I thrive on exploring new technologies and methodologies, and I successfully met such challenges during my employment. But what really fuels my work is a passion for collaboration, communication, knowledge sharing, mentoring people and feeling their support, which leads to continuous improvement of the whole team.Outside of my job, music is the thing that drives me every day. I am obsessed with listening, writing and performing, being a creative, expressive and extremely social guy.I'm keen to connect with like-minded professionals and explore how we can make things happen together.
