Human Resources Director
CurrentServing as a strategic partner with Rollins’ leadership to develop and deliver innovative human resource programs and services designed to support the mission of the College. Providing leadership, direction and management responsibility for the human resources function within the College, encompassing the entire employee life cycle, including talent management, policy development and implementation, transformational change management, strategic planning, organizational capability building; collaborating closely with department leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide guidance on people-related matters.Managing a team of three (3) HR Assistant Directors to plan, direct and coordinate our team's work and service delivery to multiple stakeholder groups. Assisting HR staff to identify and resolve root causes of problems and remove obstacles; assigning projects and programmatic areas of responsibility; evaluating and improving business processes and procedures.Serving on multiple College committees: Data Governance, Administrative Council, DEIB Strategic Steering, SACSCOC Reaffirmation of Accreditation, Service Excellence (SE) Leadership Team and SE Orientation, Recruitment & Training Sub-Team (Chair).At the request of the College president, served as a co-convener for the Faculty & Staff Hiring and Retention DEIB Strategic Planning Taskforce that examined three (3) strategic questions. During the 2021-2022 academic year, the taskforce successfully conducted surveys, focus groups and benchmarking research resulting in twelve (12) key recommendations in a final report to the president and DEIB steering committee to consider.Served as a co-project manager that successfully identified, designed configured, implemented and delivered a new enterprise service management (ESM) for the Rollins College HR team. The implementation of a new ESM has significantly enabled many of our recent technology and service innovations.
