My current work is at the intersection of climate change and psychological wellbeing. Simply put, I am exploring ways to live and act in our changing climate from an emotional stand point through The Eco-anxiety Africa Project (TEAP).For over a decade, I have been driving sustainability advocacy that centre youth leadership and action in Nigeria. Using both eco-feminist and climate justice frameworks, my organisation SustyVibes, is on a mission to make sustainability cool and relatable in Africa.My goal is to work with people and organisations interested in shifting mindsets and doing the hard and often uncomfortable work of learning about climate emotions. I posit that this is the only way we can understand climate adaptation in a poly-crisis and through this path, we can forge new meanings for concepts like climate resilience, hope and solidarity.
