Dr. Zhu is a renowned, Harvard-trained eye specialist in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. As a key opinion leader in advanced laser vision correction, cataract, and custom lens replacement surgery, Dr. Zhu educates surgeons from around the world on the latest surgical procedures and serves as medical advisor to multiple ophthalmic companies. She leads FDA clinical research trials on the latest advancements in cataract, refractive, presbyopia, and keratoconus treatments. Dr. Zhu has delivered and been featured in over 300 lectures, scientific presentations, publications, and press articles including Forbes, the Today Show, InStyle, and CNN.Dr. Zhu currently serves as Medical Director and Partner of NVISION Eye Centers in Rowland Heights, CA. She also holds a clinical faculty appointment at the Western University School of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, Dr. Zhu sits on the editorial board of major ophthalmology publications and holds leadership positions in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She is also an inductee of the prestigious World College of Refractive Surgery & Visual Sciences, AECOS, and Cedars Aspens societies.As a first-generation immigrant, Dr. Zhu graduated as high school Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude from UCLA on a full tuition Regent’s Scholarship and went on to receive her M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
