Dr. Zhu is a renowned, Harvard-trained eye specialist in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. As a key opinion leader in advanced laser vision correction, cataract, and custom lens replacement surgery, Dr. Zhu educates surgeons from around the world on the latest surgical procedures and serves as medical advisor to multiple ophthalmic companies. She leads FDA clinical research trials on the latest advancements in cataract, refractive, presbyopia, and keratoconus treatments. She is also an inductee of the prestigious World College of Refractive Surgery & Visual Sciences, AECOS, and Cedars Aspens societies.As a first-generation immigrant, Dr. Zhu graduated as high school Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude from UCLA on a full tuition Regent’s Scholarship and went on to receive her M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
