After 29 years working with and for corporate America and Africa and 25 years of Entrepreneurship, I now serve as a multi-disciplinary Business Leader in personal development and professional growth as a High-Performance Coach, Global Speaker Leadership Development Trainer, and Management Consultant.Here is a short form of my story. After a stint in Investment, Retail Banking, and Business Consulting in the US and West Africa, working on high-value projects, including divestiture privatization, I took a leap into Entrepreneurship by starting my first business venture as a side hustle in my father’s living room in Ghana and scaled it up to become Ghana’s first day Spa, Allure Spa with branches across the country and expanded it to become an African Group of companies; Allure Africa - with its own product line, a beauty distribution business with distribution across the continent and a beauty and wellness academy. I ventured into the media with my own TV show, the Dzigbordi Show, airing in 46 African countries. I then transitioned to become a Certified High-Performance Coach, Speaker, Facilitator, and Corporate Trainer when I was struck by a personal tragedy and a business failure and bounced back. During my almost three decades in corporate and Entrepreneurship, I developed a passion for talent development and noticed a wide gap between competency and human (soft) skills, leading to limited growth for Africans and diasporans due to cultural nuances and other factors.This led me to spend many years coaching C-suite executives, managers, teams, and entrepreneurs in high-performance habits and human skills. Over the years, I have worked with many individuals and companies to bridge the gap between hard and soft skills, bringing out significant but dormant potential through a behavioral change process, transitioning them into high performers with executive presence, and building them as personal brands.I focus my facilitating of strategy sessions and my keynote speaking with a practical and results-driven approach, which blends my entrepreneurial and corporate experience with coaching and training skills in As a management consultant, I work with my clients to take projects from concept to completion and from transition to transformation, ensuring the purpose, people, process, and performance are in complete alignment with culture and local context as the foundation.Today, I am the Founder and Chief Strategist at The DCG Consulting Group.
