I am a multifaceted leader, public speaker, and storyteller with a passion for driving positive change in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). As the Executive Director and Founder of Tese Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, I have dedicated my career to empowering BIPOC students and fostering inclusivity in higher education.In addition to my non-profit endeavors, I am the entrepreneurial force behind Zim Cuisine African Soul Food Restaurant, where I champion equity in the representation of Black ethnic foods in California. My leadership extends to presiding over Women in Leadership Davis (WILD), where I have successfully enhanced the lives of BIPOC female-identifying individuals through education, mentorship, and fundraising initiatives.As a former President of the Yolo County Committee of Diverse and Inclusive Elections (YCDIE), I have played a pivotal role in increasing minority representation in local government. My experiences as a Board Member at International House Davis further underscore my commitment to fostering intercultural respect and understanding within communities.In addition to my leadership roles, I am a seasoned public speaker and storyteller, engaging audiences with narratives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. My dynamic presence as a visual arts performer adds a unique dimension to my advocacy, allowing me to creatively communicate important messages.With a Master's in Business Administration from Concordia University, I bring strategic planning expertise, program development skills, and a solid understanding of business management.
