As a project engineer at PACE, I worked on hydrology&hydraulics study, master drainage plan and storm drain design. I worked on several large projects such as San Juan Creek Watershed Study for County of Orange, Runoff Management Plan for Rancho Mission Viejo. I also worked on many projects for residential communities, industrial parks, and commercial developments within the state.

I started my career at AEI-CASC as design engineer. At the second year, I was promoted to Project Engineer. I worked on West Desert Hot Springs and South Palm Springs Master Drainage Plans for Riverside County Flood Control District, and other stormwater improvement projects for counties and various city in Inland Empire. I also worked on many residential development projects in Riverside County and San Bernardino County.

Mr. Shen’s research focused on a multi-objective optimization of a hydrology, sediment and phosphorus transport model, and sensitivity analysis and uncertainty analysis of parameters. Paired watershed study was designed to estimate phosphorus reduction with the implementation of Best Management Practices. Distributed watershed model SWAT was used. Data and parameters were estimated using ArcView GIS.
