I feel very blessed with my life, with its ups and downs and dynamics that have formed me as a person right now. I grew up and developed in Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah, where I spent most of my school. I moved to Semarang, the capital of Provinsi Jawa Tengah, to study government at Universitas Diponegoro, and I am still at the university as a lecturer. I am a boy scout who spent my earlier scout activism in my hometown. When I moved to Semarang to study at Universitas Diponegoro, I joined Racana Diponegoro to complete my education programme on scouting. I became the chair in 1998, witnessed reform dynamics, particularly in Kota Semarang, and participated at the UNDIP Crisis Centre to assist student demonstrations at the beginning of the reform era.I was involved in several national and international programmes, both in scouting and part-time jobs, that enriched me with a broader perspective, global manner, and rational and critical thinking.I am interested in government innovation and making it the core of academic activities.
