Senior Design Course (WPI): Created successful prototype of adjustable, defined-depth cardiac needle for use during open-heart surgery. Group of three held regular client meetings and brainstorming sessions to design, troubleshoot, and produce an optimal product for the client's needs.Major Qualifying Project (WPI): Team of four built a peristaltic roller pump and developed an algorithm designed to mimic the breathing curve of a normal adult. The group then attached scale models of adult nasal cavities to the pump and measured pressure differentials to determine the effectiveness of a nasal turbinectomy procedure.
