Hi y’all! My name is Erika Mae (yes, my first name comes as a set haha!), but I prefer to go by Mae. I’m currently an undergraduate student at the University of South Florida aiming to achieve a B.S. in Biology. Specifically, I concentrated on Medical Biology because I want to know how my body works and why it works in the way that it does... In addition, I’m also in the process of attaining minors for both Aging Sciences and Chemistry!My goal is to eventually become a pharmacist. Why pharmacy exactly? The affinity I now feel towards biochemistry and organic chemistry was something I did not anticipate (as I thought that biology-related courses would be my top favorites)... Although the courses were rigorous, I found myself ready and willing to learn about both courses simply because they fascinated me!Besides my academics, I enjoy reading, writing, listening to any music genre I find interesting, and gaming! I like reading about topics that I am fixated on at the moment— as I’m typing this, I’ve recently been interested in tunas and their physiological traits. As for writing, I mainly do short pieces of creative writing. “About what?” you ask. Well… that depends on the topic that gets me heated, mhm! However, I did also start copywriting recently... More on that in the future!Last but not least—*never* the least—I enjoy music and video games like any other person that I know. “What genres?
