Lead on relationship with California’s Air Resources Board (CARB) in compliance with the states LCFS programs

Eatable is a boutique consultancy focused on food waste reduction and surplus food donation support for corporate dining facilities and universities. Eatable’s clientele include large food service providers and operations at fortune 500 companies. This startup environment has required that I be familiar with all facets of the food service process including procurement, distribution, storage, prep, presentation, and disposal. To be an effective consultant I also maintain in-depth understanding of the current innovations in waste reduction such as food waste digesters or dehydrators, and the complicated world of biodegradable wares.

Operating as a purchasing analyst, I conducted an internal audit of the College's dining invoices to evaluate key performance metrics being pursued by the college.

At the innovative bioplastics startup Loliware I began to build out my knowledge in biodegradable plastics and the comparative values of PLA, PHA, Begasse, etc. At Loliware I helped conduct market research and attended several business development and investor meetings. I assisted in the scaling process by interacting with suppliers and automating product tracking systems.

Through this role I sat on several committees of staff, faculty, and college C-Suite members to advise the institution as it pursued lofty sustainability goals.

While completing my undergraduate degree I supervised a team of students coordinators, mentoring them in executing on-campus projects. I began to work closely with Bard's food service provider, learning the value of institutional leverage and resources.

My summer as an engineering intern served as my introduction to LEED certification and began my interest in green building and design. I assisted the team by calculating electric load profiles which later informed my understanding of energy policy.

Over 6 months, I hiked the entirety of the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail. This trip allowed for the demonstration of problem-solving under pressure, goal-oriented determination and team building skills. Also it was a lot of fun.
