This needs updating as I've been scheduling projects for Queensland Rail for the past seven years.Having extensive skills in executive assistant and project coordination roles has strengthened my knowledge and experience in MS Office suite and other software packages, along with my strong interpersonal and customer service skills. This has afforded me with the ability to provide any secretarial and administrative role with excellent, responsive and efficient service. In my previous role as project support officer within the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) I have attended extensive project management courses externally and within the TMR. This is a role I have thoroughly enjoyed due to the variety of projects, tasks and challenges that a complex project environment offers. I believe that my past experience as an executive assistant proved my ability to be organized and methodical and also with the flexibility to assist in the delivery of activities on time and within budget. Working in a team environment is something I really enjoy but I am also able to work autonomously with little direction when required. I enjoy a variety of tasks and am keen to take on a new and challenging role where I can also strengthen and further develop my leadership skills. I have demonstrated my ability to adapt to various situations in my previous roles where I have been privileged to learn new applications, procedures and processes.
