Responsible for: Leading the engineering team in new customer product introduction and continually improving existing products. Identifying, justifying and procuring new CNC machining centers, Swiss/Screw machines, EDM and other metal processing equipment.• Coordinated engineering, quality, operations and supply chain teams in the delivery of complex machined surgical tools and implants for customers such as DePuy (J&J).• Drove engineering team to develop a quality focus on early process development improving launch times, cost and customer satisfaction.• Justified and procured machining centers, multiple spindle lathes and Swiss machines in support of more then $500K in new business.

Responsible for: Leading the manufacturing engineering, tool-room, maintenance, facilities management, project management, project financial justification and capital budgeting. • Identified major risk in a critical production equipment, created financial justification and led a capital rebuild project to upgrade computer controls and rebuild mechanical sections.
