Completed a Safety Relief Review (SRR) for a Sulfur Recovery Unit at an ExxonMobil Refinery in Illinois. The unit’s overpressure scenarios were revalidated according to guidelines. An updated discussion list was delivered with existing gaps and new gaps identified. Took lead position over the execution of a detailed engineering SRR and flare study for an ExxonMobil Polymers production facility in Louisiana, and provided technical assistance and QC for engineers executing the project. Reviewed the scope provided by the client and was able to reduce the amount of work 50% by the removal of several pieces of non-code equipment and maintained a deliverable quality that is greater than 95%. Completed an SRR during detailed engineering for a major ExxonMobil project on the Texas gulf coast. Worked with client to close all gaps identified in the previous stage of the project and ensured that all new gaps were closed before project completion. Completed relief studies for detailed engineering for the Marathon Robinson refinery and provided QC for contractor pressure relief evaluators. The project had an accelerated schedule with some unforeseen scope creep and was still completed on time. Completed full revalidations for operating units at the Chevron Richman refinery and assisted in QC for less senior engineers on the project. The project had a large scope encompassing the entire plant, which was completed within the agreed 2 year schedule. Lead position over all Siemens Relief Systems Team (RST) activities, 24/7 and Capitol Projects at the Marathon Galveston Bay Refinery. Provided guidance to Siemens Engineers and Consultants in the proper execution of relief studies and closure of gaps. Provided guidance and troubleshooting to the client to help close gaps and during excursions in operations.

The vent increased the speed, in which the silo is loaded, by 80 percent. Coordinated the replacement of Phos process tank with a larger previously purchased tank, which increased batch sizes by 50 percent. Sized control valves and regulators, which were used to deliver steam or cooling water on demand to jacketed process tanks.
