Manage the process of developing costumes with multiple vendors outside of the United States.

-Manage and improve the manufacturing process for new football jersey and tee shirt product for Nike NFL retail product lines-Provide technical and manufacturing expertise to Nike developers and designers for cost effective and production friendly merchandise-Prioritize and supervise the sample development process-Support the sample development department with technical direction and product knowledge-Act as liaison between manufacturing teams and Nike developers, relaying feedback and communicating issues between both teams-Support Account Manager with special research and development projects and account reporting-Create teamwork environment with all Nike account support staff

-Create garment specification packets for the development of samples and size sets, which include patterns, labor instructions and specific construction techniques.-Design custom performance costumes for multiple band and color guard customers at the independent and scholastic competition level.-Contribute several best selling costume designs for primary dance catalog.-Collaborate with designers to critique sample design and fit.-Communicate design, fit and construction changes to sample makers andproduction coordinators.-Manage the master schedule for custom styles, overseeing the the completion of over 150 custom styles every six months.-Supervise assistants in accomplishing project goals, adhering to the master schedule.-Expand and improve our custom design and production process for better communication between design, production and customer through accurate production schedules and in-depth critique of design.-Develop garments within multiple fit categories including Child, Young Adult and Contemporary Adult.-Work quickly within constrained schedules, often needing to complete samples in a week or less.-Review and finalize material components and labor instructions for all custom designs.-Represent A Wish Come True at industry expos including United Dance Merchants of America and Winter Guard International.

-Assembled knit and woven technical packets to be sent to vendors for sourcing which included specification sheets, trim cards, pitch sheets, CAD layouts and garment samples.-Created technical flat illustrations for styles using FreeBorders Designer 6.0.-Assisted designers in the preparation of Style-Out, the seasonal buyer meeting for the selection of new styles.-Maintained collection of forecasted color and fabric samples, and an organized area fordesignated sample garments

-Assisted design teams with the launch of Joneswear Studio for J.C. Penney and Spring 2007 deliveries of Jones & Co. for SteinMart.-Aided designers in making presentation boards which were reviewed by design executives, visual merchandisers, and buyers.-Assembled technical knit and print packets to be sent to vendors for sampling. -Assisted designers with sample fittings and TOP inspection.
