In the role of translation project manager, I was developing and implementing localisation strategies for the airline, ensuring that all digital assets are culturally appropriate and meet local regulations. Managing the process includes: team leading; coordinating with stakeholders; writing guidelines; quality assurance; creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets; change management. My biggest project, Triplake modules integration, was a collaboration between Air Malta and Branchspace. I have also been engaged in natural language processing and machine learning implementation in localisation practices.

As one of the first employees of a startup I had to wear many hats. I was responsible for developing marketing strategy, creating optimized content, analyzing engagement, UX copy, account management, and more. When I have been entrusted with managing localization projects, my work focus became launching Tedee in selected countries’ markets. The tasks included recruiting and managing translators for internationalization projects, providing software translations in various localization platforms, and implementation using HubSpot, WordPress, Mavenoid chat engine, and other tools, while leading a team of 18 professionals.

During the height of the pandemic, I was responsible for operating the official Ministry of Health helpline. The work included relaying acccurate information, answering questions, and registering patients for COVID-19 vaccinations. Shortly promoted to supervisor.

I have been entrusted with managing cultural projects aimed at promoting the city. My main responsibilities included budgeting and organizing events in the region, conducting marketing campaigns, planning international cooperations and maintaining a good image in traditional and social media. This involved attending tourism industry conferences and writing press releases. I also designed leaflets, posters, presentations and logotypes, prepared event documentation, consulted legal teams and took responsibility for coordinating other initiatives.

I have designed and conducted language courses titled "Business English for Gastronomy and Hospitality Industry" for both beginner and advanced groups in Pomeranian restaurants and four-star hotels. I prepared the material to address specific needs of a given team.

I showed tourists around the old town and castle. I also used to run workshops involving medieval arts and crafts, act in interactive shows and engage bystanders in various history-related activities. This is where I learned how even the most boring facts can be told in an appealing way and how good storytelling is key to communication. I also took up receptionist and marketing duties for a few months.
