NYAS is one of the oldest scientific societies in the United States, founded in 1817. Its members include: Alexander Graham Bell, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, Louis Pasteur, Charles Darwin, Mihajlo Pupin, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, and others. I have been involved with the activities of the Academy since October 2018, starting with the project of Aerospace Design. I officially became a Young Member of the Academy and a member of The Junior Academy of the NYAS on November 6, 2019, and the 2020 Academy Ambassador for the Balkans region. Other projects and challenges for The Junior Academy include: Intelligent Homes and Health - GJS Health, Combating COVID-19 - Project "StaySafe, Healthcare On-Demand: The Future of Telemedicine - Novozdrav, Video Competition - New Energy Sources, Restoration of Aquatic Ecosystems - Team Kenora. The aforementioned projects were, alongside the Academy, organized and financed by: United Technologies, Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), AstraZeneca and Worley. I have worked on these projects in cooperation with my fellow colleagues from the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Canada, North Macedonia, Columbia, Syria, Russia, Ukraine, India, the Philippines and Oman. I am active in amateur radio, a member of the Radio Club "Kakanj" since June 12, 2018, and the Amateur Radio Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARA u BiH) since 2019. I passed the amateur radio exam on December 29, 2018. Over the years, I participated in many HF, VHF, and Amateur Radio Direction Finding (ARDF) contests. Member and IT technologies expert in the Emergency Communications Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RMZO), an organizational unit of the ARA u BiH which connects emergency services to affected populations in case of emergencies through amateur radio communication. I have successfully implemented the use of WINLINK and VARA communications for RMZO, which are used to send emails and text messages over the radio, without the use of the internet or cellular connection, or electrical grid power. I have held two lectures on behalf of RMZO, the International online EMCOMM webinar 2021 at Mt Smetovi, Zenica (https://go.suadcobo.com/w3q0tak), and QSO Today International Virtual Ham Expo (https://go.suadcobo.com/c64vt2t). Participated at the Youngster on the Air Summer Camp 2022 in Karlovac Croatia, in a four-member delegation of ARA u BiH, from August 6-13, 2022. The camp had around 100 representatives from 26 countries, and our Bosnian team achieved the best result in overall amateur radio communications in a group of six countries. Officially became the Youth Coordinator of ARA u BiH, representing the organization at the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) in all youth affairs. President and Founder of the Youth Board of ARA u BiH since April 18, 2023, which is working on organizing promotional programs for youth and interested future amateur radio operators in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and participating as a youth team in international amateur radio contests.
