Assist in site walkdowns with the Lead Engineers of projects to identify potential problems with the design and location of equipment. Collaborate with Project Engineers to ensure accuracy and overall scope understanding. Keep track of hours spent on designing and drafting for each project worked on to make sure budget and schedule does not go over. Back-check drawings for accuracy before sending on to the Project Engineer for review.

Assist in day-to-day administrative work for the Office Manager- making sure there's supplies, ordering supplies, organizing team meetings, lunches, etc. Used AutoCAD to draft electrical and instrumentation/controls drawings for TVA specific projects. Attended site walkdowns to Hydro Electricity sites for better understanding of equipment and site layouts. Checked over submittal documents to ensure they're properly filled out and checked CAD documents to ensure accuracy of title blocks, CAD borders, layers, font, version, etc. based on the procedures/requirements of the customer. Submitted milestone and completed project packages through Citrix and notified Project Manager's/Project Engineers of the submission.

Receive orders from the internal Customer Service and Sales departments and entered them in the company's database to be sent out to production. Ensured each order entered was under the correct customer's account, product #/color/font/qty were correct, route each entered order to the next department. Entered orders from outside suppliers/vendors for printing. Asked questions to internal Sales or internal Customer Service for items that did not have enough information or if there was information that was conflicting on the customer's PO. Assisted in training new hires within the Order Entry Department, also had other department new hires shadowing my day-to-day activities when needed.
