Often considered the "go to guy" for data related questions, I've found myself doing database administration, BI report design, complex data integration using SQL and being a pre-sales technical resource for data management organizations. Expressing the need for a defined data governance process, the need for quality data and breaking down silos of information using purpose built technology (not just coding) has given me a great perspective of what can be done, but more importantly, what shouldn't be done in a data management initiative.
