As a part of this position, I develop and manage programming for the company's employee engagement and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives; I provide support to the company's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) (including the LGBTQ+ ERG, Black Employee Network, Women's Employee Network and the Veterans ERG) and employee health and wellness programs. Additionally, I develop company-wide internal communications and visual design guidelines.

In this position, I oversee and manage fundraising efforts by meeting with donors, writing grant request letters, and organizing donor stewardship engagements. Over the course of the years, I have facilitated racial justice informed LGBTQ+ cultural competency workshops and presentations to promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within the Armenian community of Los Angeles. I have also have developed conflict resolution strategies and led meetings on creating functional work environments.

As the head of the Education and Outreach committee, one of my focus areas within this position was conducting outreach and maintaining correspondence with schools, corporations and non-profits. I also recruited, interviewed, hired and coordinated the process of on-boarding consultants, interns and volunteers

I managed the organization's social media channels, created and posted on Instagram, Facebook, etc. I designed and sent out e-mail blasts and other mass communications on a regular basis.

As part of this position, I conducted 60 presentations and workshops on LGBTQ+ history, culture and curriculum for educators and students at conferences and symposia across the nation; created and cultivated strategic partnerships with local, statewide and national LGBTQ+ advocacy and cultural organizations to develop LGBTQ+ history resources for K-12 educators; organized and led quarterly weeklong professional development symposia and day-long workshops for groups of 20-50 K-12 educators; advocated for funding for LGBTQ+ history inclusion in K-12 schools from local & state governments; oversaw all aspects of departmental administrative functions, including leading a team of employees, paid interns and volunteers, and managing departmental budgets

• Translated and assembled content for social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook and Telegram• Conducted research and gathered data on international human rights violations in the Middle East and North Africa region
