Responsible for creating and implementing QLT’s commercial strategy for oncology. • As member of Oncology In-licensing team, championed the acquisition a 3rd generation receptor inhibitor for multi-drug resistant tumors. • Carried out similar activities on a corporate-wide basis as a member of the M&A Project Team. Completed exhaustive due diligence on acquisition/in-licensing candidates in North America and Europe.• Initial focus of representing QLT’s oncology programs and marketing interests through the various PHOTOFRIN™ alliances with QLT’s eight commercial partners. Instrumental in steering strategic decisions related to QLT’s initial commercialized product, PHOTOFRIN™, including drug and device development, marketing support to partners, new indication assessments, supportive in-licensing opportunities and, ultimately, divestiture of PHOTOFRIN™. • Created several analysis and decision making tools, including StratPlan procedures and templates, in-licensing/acquisition assessments, and financial projection models.
