Negotiated a 12-party MOU for the project to collect, analyze, and report on the collective grantmaking of the 11 largest philanthropies and other funders of nonprofits in Frederick County, Maryland.

Appointed to teach half of the sections of the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program capstone course, Policy Practicum, in the School of Public Affairs. Work closely with other faculty to improve the curriculum including enhancing linkages between the MPP core and the capstone. Recruit clients to match student interests for the client project component of the capstone. Design questions for the required 48 Hour Project (students receive a random policy problem, must submit a 5-page recommendation memo within 48 Hours). Grade all required assignments including coordinating standards with other faculty.

Served as instructor for the client project capstone course, "Systems Synthesis," at the Heinz College's Washington DC campus. Select students in the policy analysis concentration within the Master of Science in Public Policy and Management Program have the opportunity to spend their second year in Washington, DC working at paid apprenticeships in public policy while also completing the degree. Duties: Advise a student team on all aspects of its work with an external client on a semester-long project including collecting peer performance evaluations and grading the results of the project.
