In charge of growth, strategy, and operations at a Sub-Saharan Africa-focused public affairs and communications consultancy. Key highlights include:-Prime consultant on major consulting projects with FACEBOOK (now Meta), United States Agency for International Development, UKAID/Department for International Development (now FCDO), African Development Bank, World Bank, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Health Advocacy Incubator, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids-Strategic advisor and lead on successful legislative advocacy campaigns for the passage of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit Act 2018, Nigerian Tobacco Control Regulations 2019, and the sugar-sweetened beverages tax provision of the Finance Act 2021. -Initiated the People's Journalism Prize for Africa

Supporting the governance of the Agender35 campaign, a $10 million fund backing Nigerian women to run for political office

I supported advocacy and lobbying efforts around the implementation of key provisions of the Nigerian Tobacco Control Act (NTCA 2015) and created a conducive environment for tobacco control policies working with the Federal Government of Nigeria. A key achievement during this period was the successful passage of the Nigerian Tobacco Control Regulations 2019 by the legislative branch of government.

Provide periodic contributions to OA's intelligence briefs on the political environment in Nigeria and Sub-saharan Africa

I worked as an independent consultant on the UKAID (FCDO)-funded MNCH2 (Maternal, Newborn, & Child Health programme), where I provided: -Technical assistance in advocacy on specifically identified areas to support the programme's transition and sustainability strategy-Policy briefs and other knowledge documentation for the programme-Technical advice and strategic support to increase the visibility and influence of the MNCH2 programme in Nigeria-Facilitated the MNCH2 programme's engagement with industry publications and opportunities with other major platforms.-Strengthened the in-house communications and knowledge management team's capacity by facilitating training sessions and workshops.

-Provided strategic guidance to Nigeria's Minister of Health on communications and advocacy around the Universal Health Coverage agenda of his administration. This successful advocacy resulted in the implementation of Nigeria's Basic Health Care Provision Fund. -Advised the Minister's communications team on public engagement and assisted with drafting and reviewing editorial content, including speeches, presentations, and op-eds. -Managed the Minister's relationship with international and niche media platforms.-Facilitated partnerships with critical stakeholders in the civic and non-government space-Analysed policy documents and drafted briefs to assist the Minister's decision making -Served on several ministerial committees and programmes, including the nutrition committee of the Rapid Results Initiative, the communications committee of the Better Health for All programme (BHCPF intervention pilot programme), and strategic communications assistance to the Federal Project Management Unit (PMU) of the World-Bank funded $500m Saving One Million Lives for Program-for-Results (SOMLPforR).
