My father owned a small construction business, so growing up I learned first-hand the challenges and rewards of running a business. After graduating from college, my first job was at the chamber of commerce in my hometown. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on behalf of, and learn from countless businesses…large and small. Behind each of these businesses, there's a story worth knowing. Being in chamber and economic development work isn’t simply about helping build businesses, it’s about building the community. Successful businesses and civic leadership are the backbone of every thriving community. In my role as CEO of the Capital Region Chamber and the Center for Economic Growth (CEG), I work alongside a talented staff team and strong, dedicated volunteer leaders to ensure that our businesses succeed and our region realizes its true economic potential. The Capital Region Chamber represents nearly 2,600 businesses and organizations from throughout Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady counties that employ more than 150,000 area residents. CEG is the 8-county regional economic development organization. The Capital Region Chamber and CEG are united to drive economic prosperity with one voice, one mission, as one region.
