I am focused on composite materials and smart structures, but I enjoy finding new solutions to any challenge.Outside of work I enjoy ice hockey, rock climbing, skiing, hiking, camping, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.My Experience:I'm a Payloads Design Engineer for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. I graduated in 2021 from the 5-year combined Bachelor's/Master's program in Aerospace Engineering at Purdue University. In school, I focused on aerospace structures, material, and composite manufacturing. I found material science most engaging, especially polymers. I enjoyed coding (mostly with MATLAB) and modeling (mostly with CATIA and SolidWorks).In the Composites Manufacturing and Simulation Center (CMSC) at Purdue, I learned about the developments in additive manufacturing and processing of advanced composites. Using modeling and simulation to facilitate design and prototyping, I learned to reduce composite manufacturing costs down the value stream.
