Eduardo Ahumada-Tello is a Professor in Information Technologies and Management Science at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC). He's also has been appointed as a guest lecturer in Universities in France, Spain, Bolivia, United Kingdom and in México. He received his PhD in Education from Universidad Iberoamericana working on Creation and Analysis of Knowledge Societies and his PhD in Management Science from UABC focusing on Competitiveness and Business Strategies in Knowledge-Based Firms. During 2008 and 2012 he had the opportunity to participate in two specializations on management science at Harvard University, as well as grassroots startups courses for high-value technology firms at the University of California in San Diego in 2014 among several other courses. Prior to joining UABC, he was an independent consultant in innovation strategies and information management for knowledge-based, energy, transportation and retail firms. His currently the coordinator of the PhD in Management Science Program at Facultad de Contaduría y Administración (UABC), His a member of the National Researchers System in México (SNI) at Level 1 and a certified professor by the Mexican Education Ministry (SEP). Recently has appointed as Member at Large of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society for the 2020 period and also has been selected to continue with this position trough 2021 and 2022. His research fields of interest are complex systems and innovation strategies, digital transformation, subjective well-being, organizational intelligence and knowledge management.
