My over 15 years of supply chain experience have been in the areas of logistics and distribution operations, WMS/TMS deployment, warehouse digitalization and automation, multi-site management, fulfillment operations, network design, strategic planning and forecasting, process improvement, cost savings, inventory control/management, operational excellence, sourcing and procurement, P&L management, global trade management/compliance, supplier relationship management, supply/demand planning, and Six Sigma methodology.During this period the roles I have enjoyed the most have been the ones that combined vision and strategy creation, meticulous execution, and continuous improvement for organizations that needed to scale to support growth, or for organizations that needed to transform their operations.I'm passionate about people and leadership, and in previous and current roles, I have always considered the people component pivotal to achieving and exceeding results. In my opinion, creating high-performing teams goes beyond putting together a collection of highly skilled individuals, but includes creating an environment that promotes innovation, and where diversity of thought and ideas thrive. This perspective was first formed in the time I spent living and working in Africa and across Europe but was strengthened when I worked with the World Bank Group in DC where I had to work with teammates to support the over 180-member country organizationWhile I am proud of my professional success, the details of my work cannot account completely for what I have to offer as an individual. My varied interests range from athletics and sports to language study and community service and through my work with Net Impact, United Way, and the Boys and Girls Club of America, I have come to realize that life is a gift that offers everyone the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.
