Duties included: develop a look and feel appropriate to the business or organization in question, advise on hosting and other technical options, educate clients about updating their websites, teaching them to use HTML/CSS themselves, managing a small team to produce quality work under deadline pressure, convert documents from physical copies to online copies in either HTML or PDF format.No longer taking new web clients.

Duties include: conducting interviews, online research, and general information gathering and synthesized information into easily understandable form; working with materials produced by personnel at a range of levels, converting terminology designed for internal usage into equivalent terms accessible to the general public; shaping writing to fit both length requirements and audience expectations, writing at an appropriate level while conveying important, detailed information.

Sole technical writer for a small team working on genomics analysis software. Gather information from SMEs through a wide variety of methods (including engineer-written wiki pages, Skype calls, etc) to produce user and administrator guides for users, administrators, and OEM partners. Implemented documentation procedures where previously there were none.

Started as solo tech writer for SAAS small-enterprise budgeting, business analysis, and visualization technology company. Developed, organized, and standardized technical (SAML, API) and user documentation. Created style guide and release processes for PDF manuals and web-based online help. Oversaw creation of a small team focused on creating and updating documentation. Oversaw transition from manually-coded HTML help to a RoboHelp system.

Began as a Senior Teaching Aide in 1998, promoted to Lead Teacher 9/01 upon acquiring an Emergency Teaching Credential. Duties include: tutoring students grades 4-10 in writing, grammar, and other subjects; creating curriculum, including writing an extensive course in HTML and CSS for grades 4-12; proofreading student papers and provide constructive feedback to improve their writing; training, supervising, and coordinating teachers' aides, providing on-the-job training and management; and performing on-site, help desk style IT support for company computers, overseeing software installation and management, handling virus infections and software problems.

Duties include: researching obscure films using both search engines and sites dedicated to specific genres and finding creative ways to include all important information in very concise form.
