Currently working as a research engineer in the Process Mineralogy team at LKAB process development department. Lately the focus has been about creating models on how to turn new magnetite-, hematite-, apatite-, and REE-deposits into high quality products.One of the primary tools we use to build the models, is the QEMSCAN. When combining the information from QEMSCAN with information gathered from lab- and pilot scale physical tests, as well as from davis tube, we create simulation models, which assist us when making predictions of the most optimal processing of a deposit. Another part of my current profession is to evaluate and optimize a new crushing and magnetic separation plant. I am involved in the project to create a geometallurical block model of the Kiirunavaara iron ore. I have previously performed physical and mineralogical tests of different additives for iron ore pellets such as limestone, quartzite, olivine and dolomite. One of my new projects involves investigating rare earth elements in one of our new deposits.
