I am the supervisor of the Medical Technologist Team in Ukhiya, Cox Bazar. The study’s name is A Longitudinal Prenatal and Early Years Cohorts Study with Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals in Cox’s Bazar. Major responsibility:-a) Developing SOPs for bio sampling, environmental measurements, and bio measurements in accordance with study needs.b) Train field research assistant as well as a medical technologist (junior staff) in bio-sampling methods (Blood, Saliva, Swab, Urine, etc.) Air Quality (Co2, Formaldehyde, HCHO, Temperature) and Bio Measurement (Blood Pressure, Heart rate, stress & Emotion)c) Data download and synchronization to the donor end on a daily basis (Data type: eSense, Bodyguard and Miraj, Air Quality)d) Logistic stock maintenance and requisition for additional purchases or local emergency purchases.Team supervision in the Camp and Host community, as well as detecting concerns that our team encounters while on the job and having an immediate problem-solving capacity.e) Keep a daily database, including bio-samples, and report to project investigators, taking their concerns and working to resolve instruction difficulties.f) Sample receiving, separation, labelling, and checking with a log sheet, followed by keeping in accordance with the cold chain on a regular basis based on study requirements and protocol demand.Transfer and shipment of samples from the field lab to the central lab and New York University.g) Meeting with donors to discuss bio and environmental challenges, as well as any complications encountered during daily field activities in Rohingya refuse to camp.h) I am eager to assist my supervisor and the Project investigators in whatever way they may require.
