NOEMIS Ventures is a venture capital firm investing in and advising pre-seed and seed-stage startups in Fintech, AI/ML, and Marketplaces.

Lead Angel Investor since 2018. Became CFO in 2022 to assist in restructuring the balance sheet, raising capital, implementing financial processes, among other operational and strategic initiatives. Left role April 2024.

Analyzed potential M&A targets, executed transactions across PepsiCo’s product portfolio and produced detailed and summary-level deliverables for the CEO, CFO and other senior-level PepsiCo executives. Responsibilities included analyses of full acquisitions, minority stakes and joint ventures alongside PepsiCo’s business units (e.g., Latin America) as well as corporate functions, including control, tax, FP&A, R&D and legal. Projects included a majority stake beverage acquisition, a minority stake in a technology platform JV, a majority stake in a European company and PepsiCo’s JV dissolution with Müller Dairy.

Led and executed M&A and restructuring transactions. Primary responsibilities included building financial models, conducting industry research, structuring terms for M&A and restructuring engagements and negotiating transaction documents. Created financial models to analyze debt structures, equity investments, and credit profiles for potential investments for use in reports and recommendations to the World Bank. Analyzed the economic environment, operational procedures, and competitive landscape of clients through on-site interviews, evaluation of industry research, and cross-interaction with health and education experts. Reviewed and recommended business plans submitted to the IFC for further investment consideration to senior investment officers. Developed M&A models and analyzed equity and debt deals for technology verticals and the Financial Sponsors Group, using valuation methodologies including DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, comparable transaction analysis, and sum-of-parts analysis. Collaborated with senior leaders and key stakeholders to develop strategic business plans for governmental, non-profit and private entities that drove structural changes across each organization to help realign business development targets.
