Secured an interview with the Dalai Lama after months of negotiations and filmed on location in India at the Dalai Lama’s private residence. This sparked a spiritual journey that took Eames away from content temporarily and into the health and wellness space. He founded Love Defeats Fear, a yoga studio in Newport, RI which offers classes daily as well as events that elevate the wellbeing of the community.

Supervised a team of video producers, associate producers, and interns making videos on a wide range of topics. Eames worked on tight deadlines, managed multiple projects in various stages of production as well as shot and edited his own videos. He conducted high-profile interviews with a variety of celebrities from Shaq to Russell Brand.

Created hundreds of short-form videos distributed on the homepage as well as social channels. Eames conducted the interviews, filmed the guests, and edited the content on a daily basis. Subjects included the former head of the CIA, Alec Baldwin, and the Commander of the Navy SEALs to name a few. Eames also hosted viral videos as part of a branded campaign for Dunkin’ Donuts.

Responsible for identifying newsworthy stories and delivering packages and soundbites daily, from the ideation phase to fronting them live in the field. Eames would often shift gears in real time to accommodate breaking news. He served as a one-man-band filming and editing himself, as well as worked with a videographer going live via satellite truck. In addition, Eames created the original series, Prime Cut, which featured various viral videos capturing the public’s attention and offering commentary.

Served as the Bureau Chief in Valdosta, GA for the CBS affiliate station. He identified stories and produced them from start to finish, and then fed them to the main station in Florida. Eames interviewed, filmed, wrote and edited news packages daily without ever missing a deadline. He also broke national news, for example the controversial story of Kendrick Johnson, a high school student found dead in a rolled-up wrestling mat.

Supported all production needs related to the 6AM morning show as well as various other shows throughout the day. Eames would greet guests, run scripts, create lower thirds and assist talent on a daily basis. He spent half his time in the control room and the other half in the newsroom.
