Founded and privately funded Central New York’s largest functional fitness facility, growing it from $100k first year to base sales of over $500k in 2019 and increasing customers from 100 to 350 in seven years. Developed and implemented standard operating procedures for work flow and daily operations through a Kaizen method of constant evaluation and improvement on processes, procedures, layout, marketing, and class offerings. Built and maintained relationships with vendors to continue to provide new equipment to our membership base.In 2014, negotiated and structured a $1.3 million dollar ground up construction of a brand new facility to increase our physical square footage 10x, and enabling us to provide a greater service to more people and drive more revenue. In the time since the expansion, we have taken over 30% more space and introduced four more customer demanded programs.Successfully negotiated the sale of and exit from the business in August of 2024.

Served as owner and competition director of a masters (35+) live Crossfit competition. Responsibilities included online qualification process, inviting athletes, managing the budget of the event, acquiring sponsors, facilitating relationships with venues, responding to issues with athletes, planning the live event, and elevating the experience for athletes, vendors, volunteers, and spectators.I managed a team of approximately 100 volunteers and staff to provide a 3 day functional fitness competition to the Crossfit Masters Community.Over the course of 3 years as the competition director, I was able to scale the competition from 120 individual athletes to over 300 athletes and grow the reputation of the organization as a premier event across the world to include athletes from Australia, Europe, and South America.
