The mission of Redefining Warrior Culture is to empower veterans to become leaders in their communities, promoting mental health and wellness while creating positive change locally and globally. We believe in fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and diversity, and providing resources and support to help veterans transition into civilian life. Through education, collaboration, and service, we aim to redefine what it means to be a warrior, creating a new legacy of leadership and service to others. We are committed to promoting a better world for all by harnessing the strengths and experiences of our veteran community. Our annual retreat has proven to change the lives of the participants and in turn, change the culture of their local communities.We have successfully helped over 120 veterans regain their sense of purpose and contribute to their local communities.

Developed and launched a corporate level health and wellness program to focus on the four pillars of wellness- Intentional Movement, Mindful Nutrition, Quality Sleep, and Mental Resilience. The purpose is to provide companies with resources, information, and company wide challenges that break from the norm of counting steps and eating salads.Created a-la-carte programs for individuals within organizations to create positive lifestyle and habit change. Created and delivered online and in person content to help people develop personal accountability and a support network to foster an environment of personal wellness.The purpose is to create and foster a more healthy workforce and happier, healthier, and more informed staff.

Founded and privately funded Central New York’s largest functional fitness facility, growing it from $100k first year to base sales of over $500k in 2019 and increasing customers from 100 to 350 in seven years. Responsible for driving all business HR operations including sourcing talent, training and development programs, and employee management. Developed and implemented standard operating procedures for work flow and daily operations through a Kaizen method of constant evaluation and improvement on processes, procedures, layout, marketing, and class offerings. Built and maintained relationships with vendors to continue to provide new equipment to our membership base.In 2014, negotiated and structured a $1.3 million dollar ground up construction of a brand new facility to increase our physical square footage 10x, and enabling us to provide a greater service to more people and drive more revenue. In the time since the expansion, we have taken over 30% more space and introduced four more customer demanded programs.Successfully negotiated the sale of and exit from the business in August of 2024.

Served as owner and competition director of a masters (35+) live Crossfit competition. Responsibilities included online qualification process, inviting athletes, managing the budget of the event, acquiring sponsors, facilitating relationships with venues, responding to issues with athletes, planning the live event, and elevating the experience for athletes, vendors, volunteers, and spectators.I managed a team of approximately 100 volunteers and staff to provide a 3 day functional fitness competition to the Crossfit Masters Community.Over the course of 3 years as the competition director, I was able to scale the competition from 120 individual athletes to over 300 athletes and grow the reputation of the organization as a premier event across the world to include athletes from Australia, Europe, and South America.

Hired as a regional director for an organizational special project.Responsible for organizational development, process management, state reporting, and financial health planing of a 300 resident affordable care senior living facility during a period of organizational change. Redeveloped the management team to address key role organizational issues.Contract ended when the facility was sold for redevelopment.

Served as an Information Systems Technician in both combat zone and carrier based operations tasked with establishing, protecting, evaluating, and upgrading all data and communications technology.- Volunteered for combat rotations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Took on roles above my paygrade and accomplished multi-unit and multi-force mission essential projects which enhanced the communications security.- Lead a team of 8 interdepartmental sailors and soldiers in planning and execution of improved physical security of communications assets on 5 forward operating bases, impacting 5,000 service members.- developed a training program for the Afghan National Army on network and radio security, which was then disseminated through the country as standard operating procedure protocol.- Promoted to management roles as team leader in different departments throughout my enlistment, tasked with the leadership and guidance of 75 junior sailors.- Awarded seven personal and 11 unit awards.- Obtained Top Secret/ Secret Compartmentalized Information clearance which lapsed in 2015.
