Currently in my third year of studying Electrical & Aerospace Engineering / Business Management at Queensland University of Technology, I am deeply immersed in both academia and industry. Alongside my studies, I am actively engaged in two key areas.Since the start of 2022, I've been dedicated to the development and management of cutting-edge software powering next-generation fire suppression systems for helicopters. Simultaneously, I am involved in leveraging highly specialised drones/RPAs for conducting aerial surveys and asset inspections.Prior to my university journey, I successfully operated a small video production business from 2017 to 2021, primarily focusing on aerial cinematography. Notable highlights include winning the Sunshine Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year through the Generation Innovation challenge and securing the promotional film category at the International Stuffit Film Festival the same year.Fuelled by my passion for unmanned aviation, I pursued and obtained a Remote Pilot Licence and Aeronautical Radio Operator's Certificate, licensed up to 25kg. This certification has empowered me to contribute to some of the largest UAV asset surveying projects across Australia, where I've been able to apply my expertise and make meaningful contributions.In collaboration with the Peregian Beach Digital Hub and Noosa Library Services in 2018-2020, I spearheaded drone training programs, later known as DroneCamp. The success of this initiative generated national attention, featuring in the ABC News, Win News, and even attracted interest from the Australia Defence.
