  GooglersGive is a philanthropic arm of Google. Their flagship programme is Google Silver Surfer Towns. Google Silver Surfer Towns enables older folks to learn digital skills and get online.My role as tutor involved one-to-one tutoring of an elderly person, showing her the basic web applications such as e-mail, web browsing/searching, Skype, Amazon and sharing photos. My role as volunteer coordinator involved overseeing the other tutors and students in my group, and reporting the events of each weekly session to the programme managers at GooglersGive.
