At CRM (Catering Risk Management) Consultants, we provide consultancy and advice to clients on Food Safety legislative requirements in Ireland. Providing training in Food Safety and Hygiene to food workers, CRM also design and implement HACCP based Food Safety Management Systems for a range of clients including food production, manufacturing, retail and catering.

Based in Johninstown, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, the main activity on the farm was the production of a range of lettuce varieties. We grew indoor lettuce hydroponically and had thousands of heads of lettuce maturing every week.We also had a range of gourmet, hand selected pre-packed lettuce products.Hydroponics is the practice of growing plants without soil in nutrient-rich water. Hydroponics is an advantageous method of lettuce production as there are no weeds to deal with and hydroponic plants are typically more healthy.

Responsible for a large diverse territory which encompassed rural general practice and urban teaching practices.Promoted and marketed Cymbalta for the treatment of major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder.Received a company award for being the first representative in the country to bring Cymbalta’s market share above 10% in my territory in 2009. I held the highest market share and growth in my territory for this product in 2010.Promoted and marketed Cialis for the treatment of erectile dysfunction as ‘second line’ product. I held the highest market share in the country for this product in my territory. My territory was the first to overtake sales of Viagra in 2010.Was appointed company mentor and trained new and existing healthcare representatives on clinical selling and business plan development.Was responsible for organization and coordination of training seminars for doctors and acquisition of CME (Continuous Medical Education) points for each from ICGP (Irish College of General Practitioners).

Responsible for a large urban territory of South Dublin, I was head-hunted for this role by Bayer Healthcare.Promoted and marketed Avelox for the treatment of major acute bacterial sinusitis, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and community acquired pneumonia. Product marketing of Avelox withdrawn in 2008.Promoted and marketed Levitra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction as ‘second line’ product and significantly increased market share over a 10 month period.Promoted and marketed Testogel as testosterone replacement therapy for male hypogonadism as my ‘third line’ product. I was successful in getting Testogel onto the formulary of two major teaching hospitals in South Dublin.

I was a member of a syndicated team which covered Dublin city and the midlands counties of Ireland. Contracted to MSD to sell Singulair as add-on therapy for the treatment of persistent asthma. Gained exceptional growth and market share. I was appointed company liaison with MSD and was responsible for coordinating and planning strategy meetings and conferences. Contracted to Grunenthal to sell Zydol for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. Having sold the client list of CRM Consultants & Training in April 2005, I found this to be an exciting opportunity as I was precluded from working in the food industry for two years as part of the sale agreement.
