Day to Day running of the production and procurement teams making sure the material flow in and out of production runs smooth, ensuring on site dates are met while making sure the team works efficiently and adopts the "Lean" approach during manufacturing. Keeping senior directors informed of progress and potential savings. Providing management reports for end of month meetings and having budget planned versus actual available. Training staff on fabrication techniques, NVQ Level 2, Lean, and general time saving techniques. Workshop layout design to ensure work flow is mapped and efficient. Providing best flow and keeping within the safe working practices of the company while maximising production.

Day to day running of an aluminium fabrication team of 55 fabricators and machinists. Assigning work based on current projects and also responsible for keeping within budgets and deadlines. Also ensuring we follow the lean structure within the work place.

Running a 24 hour machine shop producing Aluminium window, door and unitised panel frames for production lines. Machines were mixes of 3, 4 and 5 axis. Training staff on the use of machines, maintaining deadlines set in production, recruitment of operatives, work planning, forecasting deliveries. Also running sub assembly cells which fabricated insert units that fed into the production lines "Just in time". these were a mix of vents, doors, louvers etc..

Moira

Being hands on leading a team of 20 operatives producing windows, doors and insert units. Training staff to fabricator level, running reports of output, reporting to senior managers on job progress, trouble shooting problems or challenges on site, product development and product testing.

Site external and internal finishing. Floors, roofing, and all other carpentry based projects.
