Day to day running of an aluminium fabrication team of 55 fabricators and machinists. Assigning work based on current projects and also responsible for keeping within budgets and deadlines. Also ensuring we follow the lean structure within the work place.

Running a 24 hour machine shop producing Aluminium window, door and unitised panel frames for production lines. Machines were mixes of 3, 4 and 5 axis. Training staff on the use of machines, maintaining deadlines set in production, recruitment of operatives, work planning, forecasting deliveries. Also running sub assembly cells which fabricated insert.

Moira

Being hands on leading a team of 20 operatives producing windows, doors and insert units. Training staff to fabricator level, running reports of output, reporting to senior managers on job progress, trouble shooting problems or challenges on site, product development and product testing.

Site external and internal finishing. Floors, roofing, and all other carpentry based projects.
