Graduated with honours from University College Cork, subsequently completing vocational training in Scotland. I have undertaken several hospital posts, both in Ireland and in the UK, in paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery. Completed Membership exams for the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I worked for a number of years as a general practitioner in Scotland, during which time I was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning from Edge Hill University.Completed a 3-year Specialist Orthodontist training program at the Edinburgh Dental Institute. Following which I graduated, with distinction, from the University of Edinburgh with a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics, and was awarded Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
