In 2012, Eamonn moved to Australia to bring his expert skills and knowledge of transplant nursing to work as a senior Registered Nurse in the NSW leading transplant unit at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Éamonn was successful in attaining the position of Clinical Nurse Consultant and then following Liver Transplant Coordinator for NSW and ACT in 2016. Part of this role is to liaise and work closely with the other Organ Tissue Donation transplant centers around Australia, New Zealand and Noumea for receiving, communicating and interpreting key issues from donor offers made for urgent interstate abdominal organ transplantation. He has since acquired Australian Citizenship while already holding dual citizenship for the Republic of Ireland and the United State of America.
